Welcome to our village. We thank Τraveling Guide for visiting and filming this beautiful video. The village’s story starts a long time ago. The first inhabitants were from the neighboring Evia but we don’t know when they settled here. Our village is famous for the Miliotiki school (school of Milies), the little train of Pelion which is the number one tourist attraction of Pelion. We try to maintain the tradition, to continue it for the next generations and to promote the village. Tourists can visit the folklore museum with it’s rich exhibits. Our library that has many historical relics from the revolution against the Turks and many books. The church “Pamegiston Taxiarchon” in the central square. You can also visit the old train station, the de Chirico bridge which is unique in the world, walk on the cobbled streets of our village and taste the hospitality of Milies.
