The Municipality of Agia is a municipality of the region of Thessaly based in Agia. The total area of the Municipality is 668.26 sq.km. and a population of 11,470 inhabitants based on the 2011 census. The current form of the municipality arose, with the Kallikratis Program, from the expansion of the original municipality of Agia with the merger of the pre-existing municipalities of Lakeria, Evrymena and Melivoia.
