The coastline of the beaches of Larissa reaches 50 km starting approximately from the beach of Mylos Glymenis on the borders with the prefecture of Magnesia and reaching Mesangala and Kastri Loutro on the borders of the prefecture of Pieria. In these approximately 50 kilometers there are over 20 wonderful beaches and small coves in the shadow of Black Mountain, Kissavos and Olympus. Many of the beaches are organized with tourist infrastructure, while others are less or not left in the hands of mother nature. The beaches of Agiokampos – Sotiritsa – Velika (a continuous beach over 10 km), Koutsoupia, Kokkinos Nero, Stomio, Mesangala and Kastri Loutro present a special tourist development. Starting from the south to the north the beaches in a row are: Mylou Glymmeni, Rakopotamou, Akti Papakosta, Polydendriou, Agiokampos, Kato Sotiritsa, Velikas, Vrahakia (Velikas), Paliourias, Koutsoupias, Kokkinou Nerou , Psarolaka, Panagias, Stomiou, Alexandrinis-Strintzou, Koulouras, Mesangalon and finally Kastri Loutro.
